GE Vernova seeks a Senior Manager, Operational EHS (Site Leader) to act as the on-site EHS authority for Wilmington's fixed facilities. You will lead a medium-to-large team, guide daily environmental, health, and safety activities, and shape site policies while coordinating with production to sustain safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in EHS or related field, or a high school diploma with 5–10 years of progressive EHS/operations experience.
• Extensive professional experience with fixed facilities.
• Proficiency applying complex engineering or manufacturing safety techniques to high‑risk environments.
• Proven leadership in managing, developing, and retaining teams of professionals.

Responsibilities

• Site EHS ownership: daily guidance and oversight for all EHS activities.
• Team leadership: mentor and retain a medium-to-large EHS team.
• Operational integration: partner with production to solve complex EHS challenges.
• Strategic compliance: interpret policies/regulations and lead risk mitigation projects.
• Cross-functional influence: liaise between EHS and other facility functions; negotiate safety priorities.
• Data-driven decision making: analyze site data to prevent incidents and improve performance.
