Job summary

Vertiv Corporation in Anderson, SC is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) professional to plan, implement, and manage local EHS programs and initiatives. You will guide the plant management team on risk reduction, safety best practices, and continuous improvements to drive toward zero injuries.

The role requires 4–8 years of EHS experience in manufacturing, knowledge of NFPA 70E and DOT regulations, and strong communication skills to influence at all levels of the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant EHS experience.
• 4-8 years EHS experience in manufacturing operations or equivalent.
• Broad knowledge of NFPA 70E and DOT hazardous materials shipping regulations.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to influence at all management levels.

Responsibilities

• Establish and promote safety as a core value; drive a positive safety culture.
• Identify and prioritize EHS initiatives aligned with business needs.
• Coordinate EHS training with Learning and Development.
• Maintain EHS data systems and KPI reporting; track OSHA logs and SDS/JSA records.
• Ensure compliance with EPA and DOT regulations; manage HazMat shipping registrations.
