Job summary

Amsted Manufacturing USA in Columbus, Ohio, seeks an EHS Program Manager to lead environmental, health, and safety programs across a heavy manufacturing environment. You will partner with plant leaders to embed best practices and drive continuous improvement.

You will manage risk assessments, incident investigations, and ensure OSHA/EPA compliance while developing training, audits, and corrective actions to protect people and the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, or a related field (required).
• Certificate in Safety Management (CSM) (required).
• Formal coursework/training in occupational safety requirements and OSHA guidelines (required).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs for a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Track and interpret OSHA and EPA regulations to ensure compliance and readiness for inspections.
• Lead safety meetings, trainings, and toolbox talks to build strong habits and procedural knowledge.
• Conduct hazard identification and implement corrective actions to eliminate or mitigate risk.
• Lead incident investigations, determine root causes, and drive strategic corrective plans.
