Job summary

Mt. San Jacinto College in Temecula, CA, has an exciting opportunity for one Supervisor, Environmental Health and Safety.

Under the area administrator, you will plan, coordinate, and enforce environmental health and safety regulations, manage hazardous waste, and ensure compliance across the district.

Responsibilities include developing training, maintaining regulatory documentation, and coordinating inspections and safety programs with district sites.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental science, or related field.
• Four years of experience developing, planning and administering EHS programs.
• Valid California driver’s license or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements across districts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and coordination of environmental safety programs district-wide.
• Lead safety training design and ensure OSHA-compliant content across sites.
• Manage hazardous waste programs, incident reporting, and risk assessments.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and documentation to meet regulatory mandates.
• Coordinate with administrators and staff to implement health and safety regulations.
