Lower Columbia College is seeking an organized EHS Manager to develop and oversee campus-wide safety programs and emergency protocols. The role entails managing hazardous waste, maintaining SDS inventories, and leading incident investigations to prevent recurrences.

The successful candidate will coordinate safety training, ensure proper labeling and signage, and collaborate across campus departments with regulatory agencies.

• Experience in occupational hygiene and hazardous waste management.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and safety programs.

Mansioni

• Develop, review, and deliver campus-wide safety programs and emergency protocols (e.g., Lockout/Tagout, Fall Protection, PPE, Chemical Storage).
• Lead hazardous waste disposal, reporting, and SDS management.
• Conduct incident investigations and provide recommendations to prevent recurrence.
• Coordinate safety training and participate in Safety Committee and Emergency Operations Team.
• Maintain chemical labeling, room signage, and safety inspection checklists.
