Job summary

The Hershey Company in Hershey, PA is seeking a Specialist EHS to lead development and implementation of global EHS policies and programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and providing guidance to EHS Managers, supervisors, and other teams. Responsibilities include compliance, auditing, project support, training, and education.

A Bachelor’s degree in safety and 0–3 years of manufacturing experience are preferred; proficiency with Vector EH&S and SAP PM is desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational/Industrial Safety or related field.
• 0–3 years in a manufacturing setting with EHS program management.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations; proficient with Vector EH&S.

Responsibilities

• Compliance: Maintain technical proficiency in key safety areas and deliver EHS training to all levels of management and employees.
• Auditing: Inspect EHS procedures and facilities; support action plans and investigate incidents to identify Trends.
• Project/Business Unit Support: Drive continuous improvement through EHS program elements and participate on multifunctional teams.
• Training: Create and implement EHS training programs and materials for new hire orientation and ongoing regulatory requirements.
• Education: Emphasize professional development; equivalent experience will be considered.
