Job summary

The Hershey Company in Memphis, TN seeks an experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety leader to drive site EHS strategy and ensure regulatory compliance across operations.

You will partner with site leadership to translate priorities into practical plans, lead investigations, and build EHS capability across the plant. This role focuses on reducing risk and sustaining a culture of safety.

Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge of environmental, health, and safety laws, regulations, permits, standards, and practices.
• Ability to develop EHS strategy, lead risk assessments and incident investigations, and influence site leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex EHS programs and short-term strategic plans aligned with priorities and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as senior EHS advisor to site leadership, communicating risks and recommendations.
• Oversee risk assessments, audits, inspections, permits, training, management systems, and corrective actions.
• Lead investigations of significant incidents and near misses with root-cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Integrate EHS into daily operations, maintenance planning, capital projects, and emergency preparedness.
• Establish and monitor leading and lagging indicators, dashboards, and performance reviews.
• Lead, coach, and develop EHS professionals and build EHS capability across the site.
• Participate in the Global EHS network by sharing best practices.
