Bechtel is seeking a senior EHS leader to drive process improvement, governance, learning, culture, and innovation across the New Albany project. You will partner with project management, construction, engineering, quality, supply chain, and HR to strengthen EHS performance throughout the lifecycle.

You will analyze performance data, lead audits, develop scalable solutions, and deliver executive-ready reports while promoting wellbeing and Stop Work Authority when risk is unacceptable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety or related field, plus 13+ years of experience; or 17+ years of directly relevant experience.
• Experience supporting EHS programs in large engineering, procurement, construction, or similar complex environments.
• Knowledge of EHS management systems, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Ability to analyze performance data and communicate with senior leadership.
• Strong facilitation, writing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Professional certifications such as CSP, ASP, CIH, CHMM, PMP, Lean Six Sigma or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Provide project leadership for EHS process improvement, organizational effectiveness, learning, culture, and continual improvement.
• Establish consistent methods for evaluating EHS program effectiveness.
• Evaluate implementation of EHS policies and regulatory requirements.
• Lead or support audits, assessments, and field verifications; identify issues and verify corrective actions.
• Develop practical improvement plans addressing findings and emerging risks.
• Prepare executive-ready reports, dashboards, and implementation resources.
