Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to develop and oversee EHS programs in a unionized manufacturing environment. The role ensures regulatory and ISO compliance, drives continuous improvement, and fosters a proactive safety culture across site management, union leadership, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an EHS leadership role.
• Preferred CSP, ASP, CIH, OHST, CHMM, ISO 14001 certifications.
• Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage EHS policies and programs aligned with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 alignment and audits.
• Monitor regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA) and conduct site audits.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
• Deliver EHS training for employees, supervisors, contractors, and union workforce.
• Collaborate with site management, union representatives, and stakeholders to promote a proactive safety culture.
