Job summary

Trident Seafoods is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Manager to partner with operations, maintenance, and support staff to develop, implement, and manage EHS policies, programs, and training. You will ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company standards while promoting a safety-first culture across facilities.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of EHS leadership in manufacturing, a BS in environmental safety, and a HAZWOPER certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of increasing responsibilities in EHS and/or environmental & safety programs in manufacturing, production, or a related industry
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental safety, or other relevant technical fields (or equivalent combination of education and additional experience)
• HAZWOPER certification is required or ability to obtain within 6 months
• A minimum of two years of supervisory/management experience

Responsibilities

• Deploy and implement the Trident Safety Process and prepare facilities for OSHA VPP accreditation
• Develops and manages inspection procedures to identify hazards
• Oversee wastewater treatment systems and stormwater programs
• Coordinate on-site responses to emergencies and releases
• Establish reporting procedures to track inspections
• Train policies for environmental and wastewater processes
• Ensure OSHA and EPA regulatory compliance
• Plan safety and industrial hygiene services and manage Workers' Comp
• Lead risk analyses and JHA/JSA on tasks; maintain LOTO
• Investigate incidents and lead A3 for recordables
