American Furniture Warehouse is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Manager to lead EHS programs, training, employee health awareness, and regulatory compliance across AFW facilities.

The role includes developing and maintaining programs, conducting trainings, monitoring safety performance, reporting statistics, and traveling to multiple locations within our Texas facilities as needed. Starting pay is between $49,394.80 and $70,564.00 annually DOE, with competitive benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Environmental Health & Safety.
• Occupational Health & Safety Professional 132.
• Knowledge of AFW safety policies and procedures to communicate, solve and enforce.
• Excellent organizational and motivational skills.
• Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Must be able to travel to multiple facilities daily.
• Flexible schedule to meet training, development or project deadlines.

Aufgaben

• Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters.
• Monitor safety program compliance and report on health/safety statistics.
• Provide continual training to team members with emphasis on safety and service.
• Promote safety awareness and maintain positive relationships with management.
• Work across AFW facilities and support incident investigations.
