Job summary

West Jordan, UT-based EHS Manager role responsible for leading safety, security, health and environmental processes at the site to ensure a safe workplace and regulatory compliance.

The position requires directing EHS programs, incident investigations, training systems, and coordination with facility and corporate teams to improve performance and reduce costs while maintaining compliant operations.

Responsibilities

• Development of company Safety, Security and Environmental Compliance Programs.
• Support EHS vision understood by all workers.
• Define leadership skills and competencies required by all workers.
• Leads the development of risk assessment methods for hazards.
• Develop training systems to meet facility needs.
• Manage and allocate resources to lead safety systems.
• Develop safety measurements using IWS tools and coordinate with teams.
• Ensure completion of incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Create, audit and implement programs across site (OSHA, EPA, site / occupancy planning, chemical storage, noise prevention, air quality).
• Facility Response Plan and Risk Management Plan.
• Participate in the Process Safety Management program, manage Environmental Reporting and Waste Management Program.
• Primary point of contact for Local, State & Federal EH&S officials.
• Site Security Plan and Audit Control Program.
