Job summary

Clayton is seeking an EHS Manager to lead environmental, health, and safety functions at our Hillsboro, OR facility. You will implement training programs, manage environmental compliance, and drive continuous improvements to reduce hazards and accidents.

This role requires strong leadership and collaboration with plant leadership and Home Office EHS Director. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Environmental Studies (or related field) and 3–5 years of related experience, with knowledge of

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Environmental Studies or related field (4+ years).
• 3-5 years of related experience in EHS or safety programs.
• Bilingual Spanish-speaking preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of EPA/OSHA regulations and ISO programs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain environmental compliance records (stormwater, air permitting, etc).
• Lead ISO certification efforts and EMS committees.
• Administer OSHA 300 log and workers’ compensation program.
• Develop and conduct OSHA training programs for plant staff.
• Manage Return-to-Work program and post-accident actions.
• Ensure safety inspections and committee meetings are conducted.
