Job summary

Banda Group International, LLC is seeking an EHS Professional to oversee the development and continuous improvement of environmental, health, and safety programs. This role requires collaboration across departments to maintain a safe, compliant workplace and to lead training and audits.

Located near Oakridge, TN or Albuquerque, NM, the position may require relocation for the project. Candidates should have OSHA 10/30, strong leadership, and knowledge of EHS standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
• Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., Certified Safety Professional) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee company-wide EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
• Ensure alignment of EHS initiatives with organizational objectives and compliance with regulations.
• Organize, conduct, and oversee training programs on safety protocols and regulations.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and improve as needed.
• Assess workplace environments for compliance and identify hazards.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and emergency response plans.
• Investigate and document workplace incidents and near-misses.
• Collaborate with departments to implement corrective actions.
• Stay updated with EHS regulations and industry standards.
• Prepare for and lead audits by regulatory agencies.
