Job summary

Responsible Container, LLC is seeking an on-site EHS Manager in St. Louis, MO to lead safety and environmental programs. You will oversee hazardous materials handling, disposal testing and permitting, and risk assessments while driving continuous safety improvements across teams.

The role requires strong knowledge of EPA, DOT, and OSHA regulations, plus experience designing effective training and incident investigations. Bachelor’s degree and relevant certifications preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in Health & Safety, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), and Occupational Health.
• Proficiency in accident investigation procedures and reporting tools.
• Experience designing and delivering training on EPA, DOT, OSHA regulations and related safety protocols.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
• Knowledge of chemical handling and storage.
• Ability to lead and collaborate across teams to promote safety culture.
