Job summary

Ajinomoto Foods North America seeks an EHS Manager to provide technical environmental, health, and safety support at the Lampasas Plant. You will influence behavior to meet Ajinomoto safety standards and ensure a safe work environment, overseeing EHS programs and policies across designated plants.

Responsibilities include auditing, risk assessments, training development, incident investigations, and TPM-driven continuous improvement. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety or STEM required.
• Minimum 5 years in environmental, health and safety role.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• OSHA 30 course completion required.
• Knowledge of auditing processes (ISO/OSHA or equivalent).
• Strong MS Office skills required.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Must be able to work independently or with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate plant safety programs and recommend updates.
• Review procedures and input safety considerations for processes.
• Participate in process reviews and hazard analyses.
• Develop and maintain training records and renewal calendars.
• Conduct risk assessments for jobs and new equipment.
• Develop equipment-specific LOTO procedures and training.
• Assist with administrative programs for written policies and records.
• Support safety data collection and incident investigations.
• Lead post-accident investigations and mitigation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory safety requirements (PSM, RMP, SWPPP).
• Monitor regulations and provide technical safety support at the plant.
