Job summary

Transco Rail Services, part of Marmon Holdings, is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Manager in Houston to lead comprehensive EHS programs across the facility. You will drive regulatory compliance, safety culture, and continuous improvement while engaging with leadership and frontline teams.

The role requires 7+ years in manufacturing or industrial safety, strong OSHA/EPA knowledge, and a proven ability to coach and train staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7 years of progressive experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, environmental compliance, or safety management.
• 3 years of EHS leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of OSHA, EPA, environmental permitting, industrial safety programs, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Strong communication, coaching, and training abilities.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn business and compliance management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, FRA, and local requirements.
• Conduct facility audits, inspections, incidents investigations, and root cause analyses with corrective actions.
• Develop, implement, and sustain site EHS programs and safety training.
• Manage environmental compliance activities including waste management, permitting, and reporting.
• Support plant leadership by identifying risks and tracking performance metrics for safety and compliance.
• Lead new hire safety orientation and ongoing employee training programs.
• Serve as primary contact during regulatory inspections and customer visits.
