CF Rail Services, a unit within the Sasser family, seeks an Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Manager to lead safety and environmental programs across its facilities. The role partners with senior leaders to ensure high standards of health, safety, and compliance while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

You will develop, implement, and manage EH&S programs, ensure regulatory adherence, and oversee training, audits, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five (5) years railcar inspection experience.
• Experience managing EH&S functions in a multi-facility organization.
• Experience measuring compliance across facilities, auditing and reporting results.
• Knowledge of oil storage and hazardous waste regulations.

Responsabilités

• Lead and promote a positive EH&S culture with site leadership.
• Provide EH&S guidance and technical support across locations.
• Develop and manage CF Rail’s EH&S programs, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local EH&S regulations.
• Oversee environmental compliance including air, water, waste, and permitting.
• Interface with EPA and OSHA; assist with reporting.
• Conduct inspections and audits; implement corrective actions.
• Drive reductions in safety incidents through root-cause analysis and actions.
• Maintain EH&S performance metrics, goals, and reporting.
• Administer EH&S training programs with operations leadership.
• Prepare Job Safety Analyses and maintain EH&S documentation.
