Job summary

Lee Kum Kee USA seeks an Environmental Health & Safety Manager to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS programs across the company. You will ensure compliance with OSHA, Cal-OSHA, EPA, and local regulations, driving a proactive safety culture at City of Industry, CA, and supporting out-of-state facilities.

You will oversee safety programs, audits, training, and regulatory reporting, certifying staff for equipment operation and conducting incident

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety or Safety Management (or equivalent).
• 7+ years of hands-on EHS management experience in manufacturing (food manufacturing preferred).
• Knowledge of Cal-OSHA and Federal OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage comprehensive EHS programs, policies and procedures.
• Lead daily safety oversight including PPE use, equipment safeguards and safe work practices.
• Certify employees on forklifts, aerial lifts, fall protection, and confined space entry.
• Conduct routine EHS audits, incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting and OSHA logs; track regulatory changes.
• Develop emergency response programs including drills and incident response procedures.
