Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety, Occupational Health, EHS Management, or related discipline.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations applicable to General Industry and Power Generation.
• At least 1 year of related industrial experience involving welding and machining.
• At least 1 year of knowledge or experience within the electric power industry.
• Experience with OSHA compliance and safety training.
• Experience conducting audits, inspections, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Valid driver's license.
• Valid passport.
• Ability and willingness to travel.
• Ability to work occasional weekends, overtime, and varying shifts based on operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead company-wide Environmental, Health & Safety programs and initiatives.
• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and compliance programs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, federal, state, local, and industry requirements.
• Maintain customer safety documentation and compliance records.
• Coordinate and deliver employee EHS training programs.
• Support workers' compensation activities, injury reporting, and investigations.
• Conduct workplace inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
• Identify hazards and implement corrective actions; perform root-cause analysis.
• Review projects for EHS risks and maintain safety metrics and reports.
