Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Fenestration is seeking an EHS Manager to oversee environmental, health and safety programs at a Williamsport, MD facility. The role focuses on inspections, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement to enhance safety and compliance.

The position reports to the VP of Operations and requires 3–5 years in EHS within manufacturing, with a strong grasp of safety training and incident investigation. It is a full-time, non-exempt role with salary in the $120,000–$130,000 range.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field; Bachelor’s preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in EHS roles in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Certifications such as OSHA 30-hour are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of facilities and work areas.
• Monitor environmental compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees; conduct Job Safety Analysis.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses; prepare reports for internal records and regulatory agencies.
• Stay updated on changes in EHS regulations and assist in regulatory documentation.
