Job summary

Sesame Place, part of SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to coordinate and supervise health care delivery for Guests and Employees. You will enforce OSHA and environmental programs, analyze injury trends, and drive safety improvements park-wide.

The role requires a strong background in environmental, health, and safety with at least 5 years of related experience, a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 years of related Environmental, Health, and/or Safety experience.
• 3 years of medical service experience, preferably in occupational health.
• Knowledge of environmental/safety laws; ability to research new information.
• Ability to meet deadlines and lead others in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including travel as needed.
• Ability to stand for long periods in extreme weather.

Responsibilities

• Hire staff for Health Services and train team members.
• Establish objectives and evaluate team performance to ensure quality service.
• Manage safety programs; report injury trends and root causes.
• Oversee workers' compensation and general liability claims management.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Oversee environmental recordkeeping and regulatory inspections.
• Develop and communicate local safety initiatives with leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
