Job summary

Sofidel S.p.A. is seeking a Quality Supervisor for the Hattiesburg, MS site. This hands-on leadership role focuses on maintaining and improving product quality, complying with regulatory standards, and driving continuous improvement across cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will supervise QA activities, support QMS audits, and coach quality technicians to uphold Sofidel’s safety and quality requirements. This position offers a stable, long-term opportunity within a growing organization.

Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of experience in quality assurance in manufacturing or paper/tissue production.
Knowledge of ISO 9001, BRCGS and HACCP principles.
Familiarity with internal and external audits.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Support the implementation and maintenance of the site QMS in accordance with ISO 9001 and BRCGS standards.
Supervise daily quality control activities including testing, documentation, and defect elimination.
Perform routine internal inspections and assist with external audits.
Review quality reports and assist with corrective and preventive actions.
Maintain laboratory operations and calibration of testing equipment.
Collaborate with production to address non-conformities and promote quality awareness.
Assist in training quality technicians and operators.
Ensure compliance with safety and product safety requirements.
Support regional quality reporting and analysis.
