Job summary

MITER Brands is seeking an EHS leader to establish training programs and promote continuous improvement of EHS systems. You will ensure regulatory compliance for a 600+ employee manufacturing facility, and lead investigations to reduce incidents. The role requires plant-floor focus (70%) and data-entry tasks (30%).

You will coordinate with management to deliver effective safety programs and maintain a safe workplace aligned with regulations and company goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with strong EHS background.
• Five years leading a comprehensive EHS program.
• Experience in a busy manufacturing facility with 600+ employees.
• Knowledge of Federal, State and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Recommend, develop, and implement EHS programs to maintain safe conditions.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and oversee workers’ compensation issues.
• Drive continuous improvement of EHS systems to reduce incidents.
• Lead investigations and address root causes for incidents.
• Provide strategic direction on EHS improvements and training.
• 70% plant floor presence with 30% office work including data entry.
