Job summary

Evapco Midwest in Greenup, IL is seeking an experienced Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to oversee EHS programs across Greenup and Newton facilities. You will lead program development, audits, incident investigations, and training, while coaching a direct report and partnering with operations to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing EHS, a related bachelor’s degree, strong leadership, data analysis, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading EHS in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in an EHS related field.
• Systems thinking with plan-do-check-act approach.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy a strategy/roadmap for EHS program maturation at the site.
• Apply lean and EHS management system principles to drive scalable implementation.
• Act as SME on OSHA, EPA, DOT, NFPA and related topics.
• Coach direct report(s) and collaborate with site operations and corporate EHS.
• Conduct EHS audits and develop corrective action plans.
• Facilitate incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Develop and deploy EHS training programs.
• Report on EHS KPIs and provide governance across sites.
