Job summary

Amcor is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) professional to develop and administer EHS programs across facilities with under 150 employees. You will lead the EHS committee, integrate safety into daily operations and drive a world‑class EHS culture.

The role emphasizes building a robust EHS management system, coordinating inspections, and delivering training to employees, contractors and visitors to promote safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EHS, engineering, or related field highly preferred.
• 1–3 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Experience with process improvement and root cause analysis.
• Strong presentation and training abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills for managing projects.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead or facilitate the site EHS safety committee.
• Be a member of the plant Leadership Team.
• Develop and enhance the Amcor EHS Management System at the facility.
• Identify and implement EHS best practices.
• Plan EHS goals and performance reviews.
• Provide training on EHS regulations and requirements.
• Coordinate inspections and regulatory compliance reporting.
• Maintain records for regulatory and internal reporting.
