Job summary

Alstom seeks an EHS Manager (fixed term) to design and implement advanced environmental, health, and safety solutions across our operations. You will lead cross-functional teams to embed a safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement in EHS programs.

Based at our Seattle office, you will mentor teams, conduct audits, and shape sustainability practices while collaborating with stakeholders to safeguard people and the planet as we advance sustainable mobility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Engineering, or a related field.
• EHS experience including team management in industrial or transportation sectors.
• Expertise in OSHA, EPA, and local EHS regulations; proficiency with EHS management systems and incident investigation tools.
• Strong grasp of risk assessment, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills with a focus on team development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and scale EHS programs to meet evolving regulatory and operational demands across multiple sites.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed safety culture and ensure compliance at every level.
• Ensure reliability of EHS systems through rigorous audits, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Champion innovative approaches to hazard identification, mitigation, and sustainability practices.
• Lead knowledge sharing sessions and mentor teams to elevate EHS standards company-wide.
