Job summary

Brightstar Lottery in Lakeland, FL seeks an Environmental, Health & Safety Manager to oversee site EHS programs, regulatory compliance, and ISO management systems for a high-security printing and distribution operation. You will lead audits, incident investigations, permits, training, and partner with operations to ensure safe manufacturing and regulatory adherence.

Requires Bachelor's in a related field, 7+ years EHS experience, and 3+ years of leadership; certifications such as CSP/ASP/CHMM

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing/printing/packaging environments.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience in an EHS function.
• Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, FDEP, permitting, reporting, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience supporting hazardous materials management and regulated waste programs.
• Ability to influence and coach leaders without direct authority.
• Proficient English communication.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain site-wide EHS programs and management systems aligned with OSHA, EPA, FDEP and company requirements.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and hazard assessments with corrective actions tracked through completion.
• Lead incident investigations, root-cause analyses, and trend reporting to mitigate risk.
• Lead environmental compliance, including permitting, reporting, recordkeeping, and agency communications.
• Develop and manage EHS training strategies and compliance matrices.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, quality, and security to ensure safe processes.
• Direct emergency response preparedness and incident command activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
