Job summary

Clayton is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to oversee environmental, health and safety programs for the home building facility. The role focuses on compliance, training, hazard reduction and ISO coordination to support a safe workplace and responsible environmental practices.

The EHS Manager will partner with plant leadership and Home Office to implement and monitor programs, maintain OSHA records, and drive continuous safety improvements across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Environmental Studies or related field.
• 3-5 years of related experience.
• Bilingual Spanish-speaking is preferred, but not required.
• General understanding of EPA/OSHA regulations and ISO programs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain environmental compliance records (monthly material usage, stormwater, air permitting).
• Lead ISO coordination and EHS committee activities.
• Oversee Injury/Illness reporting and OSHA 300 log maintenance.
• Administer Return-to-Work program and workers’ compensation processes.
• Ensure safety training programs are developed and delivered.
• Conduct annual Job Hazard Analysis and safety inspections.
• Coordinate with environmental consultant and property carrier for audits and corrective actions.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

4+ years of related experience
