Job summary

Abbott Park, IL-based EHS Manager role within the GES Global Engineering Services division. This onsite position leads environmental due diligence, remediation and waste management programs, translating complex technical data into clear communications for senior leaders.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in environmental management, strong data analysis skills, and experience with acquisitions and divestitures.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or environmental science.
8+ years of direct experience in environmental due diligence and waste management.
Experience in acquisitions and divestitures due diligence and corrective actions with cost estimates.
Experience in developing responses to environmental releases and waste disposal programs.
Ability to leverage electronic technologies and data systems to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

Lead environmental due diligence activities in support of acquisitions and divestitures.
Develop and implement environmental remediation plans for incidents and historical events.
Lead waste management programs to improve practices and reduce liabilities.
Evaluate environmental performance data to identify opportunities and improvements.
Provide content supporting sustainability reporting and external disclosures.
