Job summary

Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead and manage employee health, safety and environmental activities across manufacturing and distribution facilities in Illinois. The role partners with facility management to build capability and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include reducing workplace injuries, implementing EHS programs, and preparing for emergencies. Travel up to 50% is required; background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of related experience or HS Diploma with 9+ years of experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of environmental, health and safety regulations (local, state, federal).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Implement programs to reduce workplace injuries and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate and certify effectiveness of EHS programs through inspections and audits.
• Provide SME guidance on EHS regulations and requirements.
• Identify improvement opportunities and share best practices.
• Manage ergonomic, wastewater, and environmental compliance programs.
