Job summary

Jobtailor in Rogers, AR is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety leader to guide strategy and drive compliance across the site. You will develop and implement EHS programs, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and a deep knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations, with CSP preferred. You will collaborate with site leadership to foster a robust EHS culture and ensure clear responsibilities for all employees.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing
• Certified Safety Professional preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health and Safety preferred, or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive EHS strategy in manufacturing aligning with company objectives
• Implement and manage sustainable EHS systems and regulatory programs
• Oversee all EHS compliance programs at the location with emphasis on safety and environmental permits
• Enforce corporate EHS standards across locations for consistency
• Collaborate with location leadership to cultivate a value-based EHS culture and assign clear EHS roles
• Own the EHS management systems and their ongoing improvements

Job description

• Lead and drive Environmental Health and Safety strategy and execute action plans aligned with company strategic objectives
• Implement and drive sustainable EHS management systems, regulatory programs, and processes to support compliance and management systems with a heavy emphasis on FSI prevention
• Manage all aspects of EHS compliance programs at the location with a heavy emphasis on critical safety programs as well as critical environmental permits.
• Implementation of corporate EHS standards to assure compliance with internal standards and consistency across locations
• Work directly with the location leadership to drive a value based EHS culture and ensure clear EHS roles and responsibilities are assigned to all employees
• Responsible for implementation and management of the EHS management systems

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of EHS experience in manufacturing setting
• Certified safety professional or other applicable certification strongly preferred
• Bachelor's level degree in Environmental, Health and Safety is strongly preferred, but we will consider equivalent level of professional experience
• Strong knowledge and application of OSHA/EPA requirements
• Excellent leadership and people skills
• Excellent communication both written and verbal
