Job summary

Saint-Gobain ADFORS in Lexington, NC is hiring an EHS Manager to lead environmental, health, and safety performance on site. You will champion the EHS policy, drive regulatory compliance, and shape a proactive safety culture across plant operations.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing with a strong safety background, OSHA reporting experience, and knowledge of ISO standards. CSP is preferred and you will collaborate with leadership to reduce risk and protect employees and assets.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental, Health and Safety or related field.
• CSP certification within last 3 years preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with proven safety reductions.
• Extensive knowledge of OSHA and federal/state reporting.
• Strong data interpretation, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of ISO standards and EHS management systems.

EHS Manager: Lead Environmental Oversight and Safety Culture in Lexington, NC

The EHS Manager serves as the site leader for environmental, health, and safety performance by demonstrating the core skills and understanding company EHS policies.

This role is responsible for executing the site EHS strategy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving a proactive safety culture. The EHS Manager partners with plant and business leaders to reduce risk, improve performance, and protect employees, assets, and the company’s license to operate.

This role provides operational leadership, ensuring EHS systems, processes, and behaviors are aligned with business objectives and corporate standards. This position primary focuses on environmental compliance providing day-to-day technical environmental oversight.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental, Health and Safety or related field is required.
• CSP Certification within the last 3 years is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with a proven track records of success in reducing occupational injuries and maintaining compliance with pertinent regulations is required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with a strong safety background and experience in federal regulations and reporting. Experience with OSHA, federal and state reporting and regulations is required.
• Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance execution. Extensive knowledge in environmental compliance and reporting, specifically in air. Environmental sampling, data management, and QA/QC practices.
• Root cause analysis and structured problem-solving skills is required. Ability to interpret data and translate into actionable insights.
• Strong communication and influencing skills across levels.
• Working knowledge of ISO standards and EHS management systems.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams).
