Job summary

Ferrara in DeKalb, IL is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager to lead the EHS & Security team at the facility, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and driving continuous improvement across safety, environment, and security programs.

You will partner with senior leadership to implement PSM, RMP, and sustainability initiatives, coach operations in safe practices, and monitor performance metrics and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in engineering, safety, or environmental discipline.
• 5–10 years in safety and environmentally conscious manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years coordinating EHS sustainability activities.
• Extensive knowledge of OSHA, EPA regulations and inspection procedures.
• EHS certifications such as CSHO, CSP, and related credentials are a plus.
• Ability to travel 5–10%.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local EHS laws.
• Lead OSHA PSM and EPA RMP programs.
• Develop and implement EHS programs for safe work practices.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality on PRP/MOC.
• Oversee incident investigations and CAPA.
