Job summary

RayzeBio, Indianapolis-based and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bristol Myers Squibb, seeks an experienced EHS Manager to lead site environmental, health, and safety programs at our manufacturing site.

You will ensure OSHA/EPA/IDEM compliance, drive a proactive safety culture, manage risk reduction initiatives, and provide strategic EHS leadership to operations, quality, engineering, facilities, and supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience leading EHS programs, audits, investigations, and regulatory reporting.
• Knowledge of OSHA/EPA/IDEM requirements and environmental management systems.
• cGMP/pharmaceutical/radiopharmaceutical experience preferred.
• Professional certification such as CSP/ASP/CIH/CHMM is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and improvement of site EHS policies, programs, and management systems.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, IDEM, IDHS, DOT, NRC/Agreement State, and other EHS requirements.
• Serve as EHS SME and partner to Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Facilities, and Supply Chain.
• Conduct risk assessments, industrial hygiene evaluations, and safety inspections; lead audits.
• Investigate incidents and drives corrective actions; communicate lessons learned.
• Develop and deliver EHS training, including onboarding and emergency response.
• Manage environmental compliance programs including hazardous waste and air emissions.
• Prepare regulatory reports for OSHA, EPA, IDEM, IDHS, and others.
• Lead emergency preparedness activities and continuity planning.
• Track EHS metrics and communicate results to leadership.
• Support change management and contractor safety and incident readiness.
• Promote safety culture through committees, gemba walks, and coaching.
