Job summary

Kairos Power is seeking an Environment Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead a cross-functional team across research, development, manufacturing and operations. You will develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs, manage regulatory compliance, and drive a culture of safety, sustainability and environmental responsibility.

The role requires collaboration with operations, maintenance, laboratory, and construction staff, with a focus on risk reduction, incident investigation and training to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
• 5+ years of management of EHS programs with focus on safety management, regulatory compliance, risk management, and program development.
• Professional certification (CSP/CHI/CHMM) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a diverse team of EHS professionals and provide mentorship.
• Develop, implement and maintain environmental, health and safety programs to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Partner with operations, maintenance, laboratory, construction and research staff to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Drive Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) processes to improve safety.
• Implement emergency response plans and train employees accordingly.
• Lead safety trainings and promote environmental responsibility across the organization.
• Stay current with environmental, health and safety regulations, inspections and standards.
