Job summary

Trane Technologies invites current college students pursuing a BS/BA in Safety and Engineering fields to join a 12-week summer internship. Interns engage in diverse assignments such as Safety Management, Lean principles, and Environmental Compliance, while interacting with senior leaders and gaining exposure to manufacturing processes.

The program emphasizes learning opportunities, leadership development, and travel across North America, with a base salary range shown and an hourly compensation

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS/BA in Occupational Safety and Health, Safety Science and Environmental Engineering, Safety Management, Chemical/Mechanical Engineering, or Occupational Risk and Safety Science with a cumulative GPA ≥ 3.0 and Junior/Senior status.
• Excellent computer skills in Excel, MS Office, Outlook-Teams, One Note and SharePoint.
• Willing to travel to various Trane Technologies locations across North America.

Responsibilities

• Support exposure to a variety of assignments including Safety Management Systems, Standard Work, Policies and Procedures, Lean Principles, Risk Assessment, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomic Assessment, Environmental Compliance, Sustainability, and Training.
• Interact with leaders within the organization and gain exposure to manufacturing processes.
