Job summary

Trane Technologies offers a 12-week summer internship for students pursuing a BS/BA in Occupational Safety and related fields. Interns gain exposure to Safety Management Systems, Lean Principles, risk assessment, and environmental compliance while observing manufacturing processes and engaging with leaders.

Ideal candidates are juniors or seniors with a 3.0+ GPA, strong Excel and MS Office skills, and a willingness to travel to multiple North American locations. On-site work is required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS/BA in a safety or engineering field with 3.0+ GPA and junior/senior status.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office; strong verbal and written communication.
• U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support Safety Management Systems, Lean Principles, and Risk Assessment initiatives.
• Interact with leadership across the organization to gain exposure to operations.
• Assist in understanding Environmental Compliance, Sustainability, and Training activities.
