Job summary

Trane Technologies invites current college students pursuing a BS/BA in Occupational Safety and Health, Safety Science and Environmental Engineering, Safety Management, Chemical/Mechanical Engineering, or related fields to join a 12‑week summer internship.

Interns will engage in Safety Management Systems, Lean Principles, risk assessment, and environmental compliance while gaining exposure to manufacturing processes and senior leaders across North America.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS/BA in Occupational Safety and Health, Safety Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field with Junior/Senior status.
• Cumulative GPA at or above 3.0 is preferred.
• U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support safety, lean, and environmental projects during the 12‑week internship.
• Exposure to manufacturing processes and interaction with leadership across sites.
• Assist in Safety Management Systems, Standard Work, and risk assessments.
