Job summary

Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation in Freeport, Illinois, seeks an Environmental Health and Safety Intern for Summer 2027. The intern will support development, deployment, and continuous improvement of EHS programs to promote safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a safety/environmental field.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Attention to detail and ability to analyze data to draw conclusions.
• Team participation to support corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Support development, deployment, and improvement of EHS programs.
• Assist with incident investigations and documentation.
• Create safety communications and training materials for site.
• Assist with Behavioral-Based Safety data collection and reporting.
• Support regulatory compliance and EHS documentation.
• Participate in internal EHS audits and improvements.
