Job summary

The Environmental Health and Safety Intern will support the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of programs that promote environmental, health, and safety excellence, ensuring compliance with OSHA, environmental standards, and corporate policy. The role collaborates with the EHS team and site leadership to strengthen compliance and drive engagement, fostering a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, environmental science, or a closely related field.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Attention to detail and capability to analyze data and draw sound conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Support development, implementation, and management of safety programs to ensure OSHA and environmental compliance.
• Assist in incident investigations by collecting information and preparing documentation.
• Help create and deliver safety communications and training materials to reinforce safe work practices.
• Support behavioral based safety initiatives by organizing and reporting observation data.
• Assist with regulatory permits, certificates, and EHS documentation.
• Contribute to internal EHS audits and training initiatives.
