Job summary

MacLean-Fogg in Savanna, Illinois, invites an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Intern to bridge classroom learning with real manufacturing safety work. You’ll join EHS professionals to identify risks, collect data, and support practical improvements.

The program runs 10 weeks, full-time on-site, with start May 25, 2027, and may extend up to two weeks depending on needs. You will own a meaningful project and present findings to facility leadership.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in occupational or environmental health and safety, safety science, industrial hygiene, environmental science, engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Learn EHS practices and facility operations relevant to your assignment.
• Gather and organize data, check accuracy, and help identify improvement opportunities.
• Assist with hazard reporting, training material creation, and project communications.
• Present project results and recommendations to facility leadership.
