Job summary

MacLean-Fogg is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Intern at our Farmington Hills, Michigan facility for a 10-week, full-time on-site internship starting May 25, 2027.

You will work with EHS professionals, support hazard reporting, analyze data, and help prepare training materials. The program includes a meaningful project, supervision, and a final presentation to facility leadership.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in occupational or environmental health and safety, safety science, industrial hygiene, environmental science, engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• Interest in protecting people and the environment in a manufacturing setting.
• Willingness to learn and ask questions to understand practical needs.

Responsibilities

• Learn the facility's EHS practices and assignments relevant to the internship.
• Participate in supervised observations and reviews to understand tasks and controls.
• Gather and organize data, check accuracy, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support project recommendations and track actions through completion.
• Assist in preparing training materials and clear project communications.
