Qualifications

• Progressive experience in a design‑facing technical discipline such as EHS or safety engineering, human factors and ergonomics, system safety, process safety, reliability, industrial engineering or design quality.
• Experience integrating hazard analysis or risk assessment with engineering and program decision‑making, rather than after‑the‑fact compliance work.
• Demonstrated experience embedding a staff function into an engineering or product development organization, building the engagement model.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary EHS Integration interface to Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Product, Program Management, Quality, Facilities and Operations.
• Partner with engineering teams to understand workflows and integrate with them rather than adding separate EHS processes.
• Drive implementation of Prevention through Design principles across product, manufacturing, equipment, facility and process development.
• Translate EHS requirements and risk information into usable engineering design criteria.
• Establish and document the enterprise risk assessment process and integrate risk data across programs and sites.
