Job summary

Oiles seeks an EHS & Governance Specialist to coordinate ISO 14001 programs, support safety initiatives, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will work across functions to implement ESG and product compliance, track audits, and drive data-driven improvement in manufacturing environments.

You will monitor EPA/OSHA requirements, help translate complex regulations into actionable guidance, and collaborate with international teams to reduce risk and improve performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field.
  • 2–5 years in environmental, health & safety, sustainability, or regulatory compliance, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Minimum 3 years of general office experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with ISO 14001 and exposure to safety management systems.
  • Relevant environmental, health and safety, or auditing certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support the administration and continuous improvement of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
  • Support workplace safety initiatives by reinforcing compliance with OSHA-related requirements.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and assist in integrating requirements into company processes.
  • Act as a central coordination point for EHS, ESG, and product compliance information.
  • Coordinate environmental and safety audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
  • Assist in managing environmental programs including hazardous and nonhazardous waste and sustainability metrics.
  • Support regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Utilize SAP and internal tools to gather, track, and analyze data.
  • Coordinate collection and validation of environmental, energy, product, and material compliance data.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate materials and processes for compliance risks.
  • Assist in delivering environmental and safety training.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives including waste reduction and energy efficiency.
  • Translate regulatory and ESG requirements into actionable information.
