Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Safety Coordinator, Safety Specialist, EHS professional, or similar role.
• Experience in manufacturing/food production environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety best practices.
• Experience managing workers' compensation and return-to-work programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, implement, and coordinate safety programs and initiatives.
• Schedule and track employee safety training.
• Develop training related to Food Safety, GMPs, SOPs, and workplace safety.
• Advise management on safety policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Investigate workplace incidents and prepare reports for management and insurers.
• Coordinate workers' compensation claims and return-to-work programs.
• Research OSHA and related safety regulations and stay current.
