Job summary

Conax Technologies is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) & Facilities Manager to lead programs that support production and site operations. You will drive EHS initiatives, facilities maintenance, and project delivery to maintain a safe, efficient work environment across Buffalo sites.

The role requires strong leadership, regulatory expertise (OSHA, EPA, USDOL), and the ability to coach teams, manage budgets, and implement corrective actions while ensuring continuous improvement in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Applied Sciences, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing EHS or facilities experience.
• Eligible to be CSP-certified.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage facility EHS programs to ensure worker safety and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain Environmental, Health, and Safety policies, training, and documentation.
• Coach and develop managers and staff to meet EHS objectives.
• Oversee facility maintenance projects, preventive maintenance, and emergency response planning.
• Manage vendor contracts and site services; track KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Present information to all levels and document activities in the company wiki.
