Job summary

CS Power Systems, a division of Canadian Solar, seeks an Environmental Engineer to develop and implement programs ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations at our Jeffersonville, IN facility.

The role includes hazardous waste management, wastewater treatment oversight, stormwater, SPCC planning, and EMS development toward ISO 14001/45001 certification. Requires 8+ years in industry and a bachelor's degree in environmental sciences or chemical engineering.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of EPA, OSHA, IDEM rules and state/local regs.
• Experience designing wastewater treatment and air emission controls.
• Experience with stormwater, SPCC, SWPPP plans and hazardous waste handling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain environmental programs to ensure compliance.
• Monitor hazardous waste handling, disposal, storage and manifests.
• Prepare permits and regulatory reporting for air, wastewater, and waste.
• Lead EMS development and drive ISO 14001/45001 certification.
