Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Engineer (Satellites) to provide technical EHS support to satellite and dish manufacturing teams. The role emphasizes hands-on safety reviews, incident investigations, and compliance with OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, and EPA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of experience in environmental, health and safety oversight.
• Experience applying OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH standards and regulatory guidance.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed safety reviews of complex hazardous operations with test engineers and technicians.
• Lead or assist incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain compliance with OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH and related regulations.
• Implement health and safety policies, job hazard assessments, and procedures.
• Monitor employee exposure to physical and chemical hazards and inspect facilities.
