Responsibilities

• Analyze work environments and design programs to control, eliminate and prevent disease and injury.
• Develop safety policies, training materials, and track certifications.
• Prepare and maintain safety records including training, investigations, OSHA logs and audits.
• Coordinate medical management of workers' compensation cases and return-to-work processes.
• Manage distribution of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Conduct periodic fire and emergency evacuation drills.
• Chair the Safety Committee and conduct monthly meetings.
• Conduct new-hire safety orientation.
• Additional tasks as assigned by management.
